I met Nabil in the early 1990's and he instantly just made me feel like I had known him for years. So much warmth and sincerity he embodied. The kindness and generosity he showed everyone, the smile and joyful larger than life personality just filled any room he entered. He always was a total gentlemen and I always felt blessed to call my friend. He will not be forgotten and my heart breaks for all of us who will miss and love him forever!

He was one of kind and I loved him.

To Dear Medhat, Sherif and their families and Tant Aida
As you know I just learned today of the passing of my Childhood friend Nabil. I am so deeply sad, with a profound sense of loss since I knew that Nabil left us.
I lost a close very dear friend that I have first met in August 1967 at the school in Wad Medani. We sat together on the same desk for the following 4 years. A year after we both were admitted to medical schools in different cities. We remained in contact over the years. We repeatedly met in different places and countries. And between 1995 and 2008 my travels took me repeatedly to Houston and Houston meant to me that I will see Nabil. We would not have met for few years, but as soon as we do, we pick up from where we left like we were together the day before. We exchanged all our news, and you, Nabil’s family were always his main news. He was happy and proud with the weddings of his brothers, graduations, professional success and wedding of his nieces. He took time off to be with uncle Wahba towards the end. He took such a good care of Tant Aida during her illness . He loved you all so dearly, as you know.
To me as his friend, he was always the source of positive energy. He was a compassionate a good listener and he had this unique ability of somehow uplifting my mood at every time we talked. He loved people and people loved him and loved to be with him.
I last spoke over the phone with Nabil on July 1st . Today, since I heard about Nabil’s departure, I am overwhelmed by the flow of my memories with Nabil over the years. Oh, I miss Nabil, I will miss him for a very long, long time.
To you his family, my heart goes to you all, it’s so difficult to loose Nabil. God be with you all and gives you his peace. My very special thoughts and condolences go to Tant Aida.
And for Nabil my, dearst childhood friend, rest in peace with Jesus whom you always loved.
Sincerely, Adel Girgis, (or Adel Fekry Tawadros Girgis) Toronto 647 459 4344

So Sorry for the family’s loss of Nabil. I met him at MHSW in 1996. He was my manager and taught me a lot about building character as a respiratory therapist In the 8 years we worked together. I saw him last year by coincidence and now I’m glad I did. He had a big heart and would help anyone he could. Prayers for his family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Nabil’s kind and gentle soul will be missed. I truly respected his work ethic. He had a zest for life and so much joy in his heart. I will miss the sunshine in his voice. I had the honor of working with him through our mutual service to ITA and ITAR. Rest in peace my friend. My sincere condolences to the Malaty family. I pray for strength and comfort during this most sad and difficult time

I worked with Nabil at Memorial SW for many years and he was always a wealth of information as he was so intelligent. He was a gentleman; so kind and respectful, and such a gentle soul. He always lifted me up and gave me encouragement. I loved him and I will miss him so much.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his many friends.
