Drew was a very quiet and loving man that will be missed by his family. He was a sports lover, especially of his hometown teams of Chicago. He retired from Randall’s Grocery stores after 32 years of service as a convenience clerk. He had a love of music, especially classic country and rock. He was a collector of many unique things, such as pad locks and various watches, to which he liked to dismantle and reassemble. While passing time he enjoyed watching “Wheel of Fortune” and WGN weather.
Drew is survived by his three brothers, Mark J. Baxmann and wife Jane, Scott J. Baxmann, and Curt J. Baxmann and his soul mate JoAnn; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Houston Hospice for the care that they had given Drew.
