On July 10th, 2021 Eairol Seale Coker affectionately known as Ms. Bee, Grandma B, Aunt Biddie, and of course, Mama, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord. Ms. Bee is survived by her 6 daughters, 2 sons, 24 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and 2 more great gradndaughters will be born before the end of this year. One more great granddaughter is in the process of adoption.
Ms. Bee was the 7th child of Clyde Richard Seale and Nannie Corley Seale. There are 7 nephews and 7 nieces still living. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Joe Coker and two sons; Timothy and Markle.
Ms. Bee’s dad passed away while she was very young. The family endured many hard years. She married at age 17 to Joe Coker who she met at a church revival while visiting with her sister Maple and niece Georgie. She was busy for many years raising her family. The family moved often. She and her husband moved to Burke, Texas in 1983 where she went back to school and completed her GED. She went on to get her training and license in care providing, working in private nursing homes for many years.
If there were to be one word to describe Ms. Bee, it would be “precious”. She was kind, generous of spirit, and known for her gentle ways. Everyone loved Ms. Bee. She had a humorous side! One of her favorite stories is when as a young child her mother left her in charge of one of her Uncles who was known to drink a little too much. She was instructed by her mother to not let him leave. So much to her mother’s surprise when she arrived back home, the Uncle was tied to the porch. When her mother asked why he was tied up, Ms. Bee replied, “Well you told me not to let him leave.” Needless to say the Uncle was as mad as can be.
Ms. Bee will be greatly missed!
Testimony - In all the years of Ms. Bee’s life, there is one essential thing that stands out. Her love and her devotion to her Lord Jesus. She received the Holy Ghost and was baptized at around age 17. Sharing stories of her life with family tells always how she wanted to go to church. She would walk up to 7 miles one way to go to church. She taught all her children about the Lord. A few days before her death, two of her daughters were with her and as they sang and prayed with her, she had her hands lifted waving back and forth praying and worshiping. Even to the end, she was still praising her God.
