

Earline Louise Schulze Brockermeyer was born November 30, 1931 to Reinhardt and Wilma Schulze in Prairie Hill, Texas, and died August 12, 2010. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Floyd; son Daniel and wife Phyllis; daughter Karen; daughter-in-law Kathy; grandchildren Daniel Jr. and wife Skye, Matthew and wife Pam, David, Hannah, Krystol, Richard Persky and wife Amy, great grandchildren Emily and Brady Persky; brother Charlie “Dutch” Schulze and Mary; sisters-in-law Sadie Brockermeyer, Ora Dell Hagen and husband Tommy, Gladiola Lampley, Beth Frances Schulze, Ruth Hengst and husband Max; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Linda, son Allen and brother Floyd Schulze.
They moved to Houston following their marriage in 1950, and have been residents of the Heights for the past 60 years. She shared her faith and lived her life in service and devotion to others. She had a deep love for her church and community. She was an avid fan of all the local sports teams, and one of her most favorite things in life was following her grandchildren’s sports. She did volunteer work for M.D. Anderson Hospital for more than 35 years and was actively involved in Trinity Ladies’ Circle nursing home and telephone ministries. In earlier years, she was also involved in Cub Scouts, PTA, and Hogg Junior High School band’s booster club.
Visitation will be at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 West 34th Street, Sunday, August 15, from 4-6 pm, and a service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Houston Ave., at 10 am on Monday, August 16, 2010. In interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
