Eddie Gloria Jr.

He was preceded in death by his father Eddie, his mother Delfina, and his sister Rosemary. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, his 3 daughters and their husbands, his brother Fred and his wife Gloria, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous other extended family members.

Eddie’s family meant the world to him. Eddie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He would host parties and could be found manning the grill or talking to everyone, making sure everyone had enough to eat. He was a generous, kindhearted man who was always willing to help others. He would do anything for his family and friends. He never met a stranger.

Eddie is remembered for all the great stories he told. He had some tall tales. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being outdoors. He also enjoyed gambling - going to the casino and scratching off lottery tickets to see how much he won. He touched a lot of lives and will be deeply missed. Until we see him again, he will live in our hearts. We love you!

A Committal Service will follow at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on May 4, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
