Bill's career as a Corporate Tax Consultant in both California and Texas included such companies as Superior Oil and Gas, Cooper Industries, Signal Oil and Gas, Burmah Oil and Gas, Aminoil, RJ Reynolds and Phillips Petroleum.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Therese Lawrence, and his parents Edward William Richie, Sr and Agnes Cecilia Jordan. He is survived by his children Nancy Lindley (Jon) of New Braunfels, Brian and Chris (Cheryl) of the Woodlands, Stephen of Houston, and Colleen Spedding (Shawn) of Lee's Summit, MO. Grandchildren include Claire Compton (Barry), Matthew Lindley, Allison and Madison Spedding, and Travis, Colton, and Caitlyn Richie.
Arrangements are pending for a family inurnment and celebration of life.
