If there was nothing else Jesus exemplified for us, it was that sacrifice and love are the greatest of deeds we can aspire to with our time here on Earth.

Today is mom’s birthday!
Remembering her on this day.

Revelation7:14-17
And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore,
“they are before the throne of God
    and serve him day and night in his temple;
and he who sits on the throne
    will shelter them with his presence.
16 ‘Never again will they hunger;
    never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’[a]
    nor any scorching heat.
17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne
    will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b]
    ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]”

Thinking bout mom today. Boy did we have a fun.
God blessed us so very much.

Thinking of mom,

What makes a person generous? 
Is there a generous gene? Do some people have it,
while others do not? While it is convenient to assume some are
born generous, the truth is that generosity is a decision.

And just like every other decision, a generous act is born from a person’s character, values and priorities. Elaine’s planned giving
was and is not about generosity in the first place. She gave because 
she was so smitten with the Savior. Her gift overflowed from her life
in the Spirit, as was her lifetime dedication to living and sharing the Gospel. 

It is not about who has enough to give or who is more inclined to give. Instead, the matter boils down to one simple but profound question: With whom or what are you smitten?
The answer to this question will reveal the truly generous.

What ministries has God laid on your heart?

I’m sending you love in the stars as you ascend.

On July  18,  2023,  Elaine departed this life to “be with Christ, which is better by far” (Philippians 1:23).

I will forever remember.........

Elaine's main character trait was her Love and Generosity.
Of course, generosity of material, money or worldly things were freely given.

But the biggest generosity of all was her love for others,
her empathy for all and her way of putting herself last and 
others first. Mom gave of herself and gave you her time. When you wanted or needed it. Not when she had time or waited until she was ready. 

Remember, you came first. Mom returned an insult with a turning of her cheek. Many folks took that act of kindness for weakness. It proved a bed of down for Elaine. Mom was not merely a "strong woman", she was a strong person, a Christian. 

That's one thing about Elaine I will always remember and cherish.

Elaine had a favorite rose variety. It so happens that it is a peace rose.

Mom kept her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We called Jim Jr. Ed, since his middle name was Edward.
Dad was very happy.

My Aunt Elaine was one of the most beautiful,caring, an giving ladies I ever knew.
You couldn’t be in a room with her that you wouldn’t get a hug an kiss  on cheek . Even up
To time my sons were in college my Aunt Elaine would send them birthday cards never missed a one . Holidays at Aunt Elaine’s & Uncle Jim’s was always a an anticipated day The feast she would put on could feed a football team an I remember the Snell football team put a good dent in it.
My dad Arthur was a lover of pies an Aunt Elaine new it She always knew to put a piece of lemon an chocolate on his plate. We love you Aunt Elaine an the time an memory’s will never be forgotten Be sure an tell Uncle Jim hello for us
