Elaine Walker

Sadly, her journey came to an end on October 20, 2024 in Houston, Texas at the age of 73, all too soon.

The daughter of Elvie Tebo and Cliffton Joiner and sister of Amy Jones and Cliffton Joiner Jr., Elaine was raised with the utmost love, care, and respect and spread those same values throughout her life. After graduating Jack Yates High School and completing vocational school, she went on to work in a variety of companies, such as Hughes Tool Company and the V&M Star Steel Company, where everyone remembered her for being such a hard worker and kind person.

During her journey, she shared memories with spouses George Lewis, Carl Walker Sr. (deceased), and Harold Simon (current). Just as her mother and father instilled upon her, she instilled the same values to her children, bonus children, and loved ones: LaMargaret Lewis, Adrian Simon, Alice Walker, Carl Walker Jr., Ricky Simon, and other friends and family members. She always strove to be there for them as much as she could and was like a second mother to many people in ways.

She now goes on to join her mother, father, and brother in their second journey above. However, she leaves behind the never-ending love and memories she shared with everyone in life.
