Eli was a perfect gentleman and proud U.S. Veteran. When he served his time in the Military, he was stationed in Germany and when the time came, he was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He loved is country and served proudly.
On September 28, 1979 he found a greater love and married the love of his life Rose, His Honey. He was married to Rose for 42 years.
Eli was a friend to all who met him. His family, friends, and neighbors remember Eli as a warm, caring, humble man who worshipped God with word and deed. He was a devoted member of Faith Church and when able to, dedicated his time to his church.
Eli worked extra hard to provide for his family dedicating over 20 years of employment to Triten Corp. until he was unable to continue due to his unexpected illness.
His memory will be cherished deeply by all who loved him. He leaves behind his beloved & devoted wife Rose; 5 Children, Roman Ellis Hernandez, Carol Betancourt (Husband, Carlos Betancourt), Victor Hernandez, Barbara Hernandez, and Roland Louis Villareal; 15 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grand Children, his beloved brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and many cherished relatives/friends whom he loved beyond measure.
