Born in Houston, she is predeceased by her parents, Carrington Mason and Dorothy Trout Mason; and sister, Mary Clara Mason. Betsy is survived by her husband, John Marshall; children, Jennifer and Mason Marshall; and sister-in-law; Sharon Keilin.
Beloved wife, mother, and friend, she believed in the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ from a young age and served Him with gratitude to the end of her life.
A graduate of the University of Texas, she was a teacher who changed the lives of many children; a committed Bible Study leader for women of all ages; and a gifted needlepoint artist.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening on Monday, the 28th of January, in the drawing room of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
On Tuesday, the family will gather for a private interment service at Morton Cemetery in Richmond, TX, where the Rev. Dr. M. Douglas Harper, is to officiate.
