

Elizabeth Oleta Gray Ruffino, age 88 passed away peacefully on August 31, 2013 in Houston, TX. She was born on November 24, 1924 in Guthrie, OK to Robert and Anna Gray. She was known as “Libby” to everyone.
Libby and Luke Ruffino were happily married for 47 years. Together they raised 6 children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luke Ruffino Sr., son-in-law, Jim Carter and parents Robert and Anna Gray. Libby is also preceded by all of her siblings: brother, George, sister, Doris, brother, Wilford (Buck), brother, Charlie, sister, Pearl, sister, Vera, sister, Betty Jo, and brother, Robert (Bob).
Libby is survived by her children; daughter, Mary Ann Taylor and husband, Richard (Dick) of Houston TX., daughter, Theresa Ruffino of Austin, TX., daughter, Katherine (Kathy) Carter of Houston, TX., son, Luke Ruffino Jr. and wife, Christine of Albuquerque, NM , daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Aymond and husband, Allen of Houston, TX., and son, Mark Ruffino and wife, Terri of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Pauline Ruffino of Bryan, TX as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandchildren: Richard (Rick) Taylor and wife, Donna, Kimberly (Kim) Smith and husband, Jerry, Jacqueline (Jackie) Holloway and husband Jimmy, Jeffery (Jeff) Taylor and wife, Shirley, Alex Sadof, Nicole (Nicci) Willie and husband, Dustin, Erica Ruffino, Lindsey Henley and husband, David, Jordan (Ash) Carter, Chase Carter, Luke Ruffino III and wife, Kira, Wesley Aymond and Maegan Ruffino.
Great-Grandchildren: Ryan Taylor, Arron Taylor, Michael Zouzalik, Zachary Zouzalik, Kevin Taylor, Shelby Holloway, Rebecca Taylor, Abigail Ruffino, Kaden Henly, Hailey Ruffino, Jacob (Jake) Willie, Luke Henley and Benjamin (Ben) Willie.
Great-Great Grandson: Daniel Stewart
Pallbearers: Jeff Taylor, grandson, Jordan (Ash) Carter, grandson, Chase Carter, grandson, Luke Ruffino III, grandson, Wesley Aymond, grandson, Arron Taylor, great-grandson, and Ryan Taylor, great-grandson.
The family will be greeting friends and relatives on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Earthman’s Funeral Home Hunter’s Creek Chapel, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. A vigil will be held on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell St. Houston, TX. 77007 at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 5, 2013. Burial will follow the funeral at Forest Park Cemetery 6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX.
