Elsie Moore

Elsie had a passion for helping family and friends. It could be as simple as giving someone a ride or assisting with any paperwork. She was sharp and very tech savvy, her kids had to keep up with her. Elsie was a stay at home mom until her children were in their teens. She always made sure to spend time with family. Elsie began working with her son at More Electric, and she loved every minute of it, but she was no stranger to having a good time. She never missed a day of going with her girlfriends to concerts, the Creighton Theater, and/or anything else her best buddies and loved ones could find to get into. At age 79, Elsie was out on the town almost every Saturday night. She lived an adventurous life and will be dearly missed.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Moore Sr.; brothers, W.C. Oatis and Kenneth Oatis Sr.

She is survived by her children, Floyd Moore Jr. and wife Anita, Lynne Moore and husband Bruce, and Cynthia Jones; 7 beautiful grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; along with extended family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are Clint, Cliff, Stephen, Bruce, and Reif.

A visitation for Elsie will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM. A committal service will occur Friday, July 14, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
