Emilio Tovar, 73, was called to heaven on October 2, 2014 and joined his parents: Joe & Louise Tovar; brother, Roy Tovar. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Celia Tovar; daughter, Christine Patterson & husband Monte; brother, Jesse Tovar & wife Estella; sister-in-law, Shirley Tovar; numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8PM with the Rosary at 7PM on Sunday, October 5th at Brookside. Funeral Mass will be at 10AM on Monday, October 6th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1505 Kane St., Houston, TX 77007. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
