Grandma Nena, I am sad that we could not know each other and I am sad that I have three more of your great grand babies you never met and who will never know you.

It took some time for me to write this Tia. I've always called you for prayer, but I couldn't many times now since you've went back home. I was in deep thought, as I cried missing my dad. He had a beautiful celebration of life ceremony, as you did with the doves being released as scripture was read. Wondering...as I'm standing there, and we're celebrating his life....whether you met my dad at heavens gate, knowing somehow he'd be there. Picturing you welcoming him with hugs & smiles. I've read how others who've had a glimpse of heaven, yet came back, that they recognized loved ones welcoming them there. I know his mom, sister were excited to see him/embrace him to...so Tia could you tell my dad I love & miss him terribly. I miss you Tia lots to, but I know your both ok, and your both not sad at all. I keep telling my heart your all having a blast, in heaven, and we'll all be together once again...but that deep deep heart hurt is still grabbing hold of me everyday. It seems I cannot shake it off, and that this hurt is not going to go away. Tia I'm not sure what sort of mansion you have, but I know that my dad must have showed you his. I can just see him wearing his jean overalls (no shirt) sitting under his shade tree, near the pond. He's also probably in his bare feet, with his straw hat, & chewing on a piece of straw. He always said that having a country farm home, would be the life. I miss you Tia, tears streaming as I write this. I love you Tia, please tell my dad I said I loved him to. Thank you Tia, for being an inspiration to me & welcoming my dad back home to. You definitely left a legacy of yourself, that'll always, forever live in my heart. ?? Your Neice, Lavina

It will be 20 weeks January 7 that Mom/Grandma/GiGi went to be with the Lord. People say that time heals all wounds. But what they are not telling you is how much time it will take for the hurting to stop. I am still waiting for that time, but REALLY?!?! How much time does it really take? She was my Mom, my Dad, and my best friend.
I went to a funeral today and I didn't have anything to say because I didn't know when the pain will go away. We love you, Mom/Grandma/GiGi! We miss you!! From Diana & Carol

I want to call you mom because you were like a mom to me too.Everything is different now,I know you are in wonderful place and you are with the ones you prayed to everyday for all of us. Even though I can't see you anymore you will always be with us at every occasion and holiday.I feel you with me.I had a dream that you were talking to a group of people and they were really interested in what you were saying.I love you so much and you will always be in my heart and in my mind.Until we see each other again.We are in this together family,we can cry and spend time together remembering her,she will not be forgotten.
