I love Mrs. Mcdonald so much. She was my friend and she always understood me, I could talk to her about anything. We used to pray together and have conversations about the Bible. The first time we prayed together she told me not to be ashamed to pray and encouraged me to do so. I would tell her that she had good sons because they always went to visit her and that it seemed like they really loved and cared about her and she would always say "they better" with a big smile on her face. I would also tell her that she must have been a good mom and she would say "I hope so." Every time I would pass by her room I would stop by and see her. Now every time I pass by her room it is so sad, empty, & dark. The nursing home just isn't the same without her. I will never forget the wonderful person that she was. I miss her so much but I know that she is in a better place with Jesus and is free of pain. In fact, a few weeks ago we prayed together and she said "Precious Jesus, you're so precious, I love you. When I leave this world I know that you will be with me and that you'll be there waiting for me with your arms stretched out."

Terry and I are so sorry for the loss of Era.  She's free of her pain and suffering, that's true.  But, her absence with you will be felt.  It's always hard.

I am her first cousin and Randy was in my class when they lived in Hampton. I am so sorry for your loss and prayers for the family.

My sincere condolences to the family. Mrs. McDonald was a wonderful woman. I enjoyed every visit I had with her. She will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.
