Erica Grace Garces

Erica Garces was born on September 6, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, and moved on with the Lord on June 20, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

Erica lived her life to the fullest, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her spirit was defined by a sense of childlike wonder and an extraordinary generosity that inspired those around her. She had a deep passion for helping others and was always true to herself, choosing to live life on her own terms with conviction and joy.

She found happiness in the little things and the grand adventures like—cooking for her loved ones, immersing herself in anime and K-pop, traveling to new places, and seeking out hidden gems wherever she went. Erica especially loved comic and anime conventions, food festivals, cosplay, and the vibrant communities that came with them. She lit up in arcades, never passed up a claw machine, and brought playful energy to every experience she embraced.

She is lovingly survived by her mother Grace, father Kiko, older brother Eric, younger sister Ces, brother in-law Rodney, relatives, her chosen friends who became family, and her three beloved dogs—Mochi, Chewie, and Yume. She is now happily together with her family that have gone before her and her dogs George, Kiba, Bento, Hoshi, and Koi the cat.

Erica’s vibrant spirit, creative soul, and boundless heart will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
