Ernie was so much everyone's dad. I remember him actually holding interesting conversations with me when I was a summer hire at Unocal in the late 70's. Hardly any other bosses did that. I remember then thinking that he was really human! Others seemed always too busy to be nice. It's funny what stays with us through the years.

Rest in peace, you will be missed.

Pepa, we miss you SO much already.  I hope you knew how much we all loved you, you've really set the family standards high.

Coach Moore set a wonderful example for many young men like me. I appreciated his steady hand and I'm a better man for having known him. God bless the Moore Family.

Ernie was a great influence on my career as first manager.
He will always be a part of who I am and will be missed.

Ernie was my first supervisor at Unocal when I came out of college. He was wonderful to me and to my new bride, Ann Brooke. Truly one of a kind and I miss him
