Our Lord Jesus Christ has called another Angel home. Esperanza (Chapa) Briones our beloved sister, aunt, and great aunt has passed away on October 30, 2014. Chapa was born August 28, 1916 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Simon and Anselma Briones. Chapa loved to and had a passion for cooking and spending quality time with her family. She was employed by Spencer Foods where she worked for 30 years until her retirement. Chapa was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Simon Briones, sisters Anselma Clarke and Consuelo Briones. Left to cherish her precious memories is her brother, Jesse Briones and wife Marion, sisters, Rosenda Riojas and Mary Almendarez, nephew, Richard Riojas and wife Maria, and niece, Bertha Riojas-Ruiz and husband Frank, whom she raised as her children, other nephews, nieces and loving friends.
