Estelle Mae Bilnoski was born on November 20, 1920 in Fairbanks, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Alberta Deacon, husband Sam Bilnoski, sons Mark, Philip and David Bilnoski and sister, Emily Heiman.
Estelle is survived by sister, Dorothy Kelly and husband, Roy, sons, Ronnie Bilnoski and wife Pam, Ralph Bilnoski and wife Bobbi, and John Bilnoski and wife Lisa, daughters, Janet Bilnoski Francklow and husband Stephen, and Kay Bilnoski Salvatierra and husband Steve, and daughter-in-law Becky Bilnoski.
Estelle is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. As well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
Estelle graduated from Reagan High School. She was also a member of the Waves in the Navy. She graduated from the University of Houston in 1942.
Estelle was married to her husband, Sam, for 41 years.
Estelle was a lifelong, charter member of St Theresa Catholic Church in Memorial Park. She was an active member and officer in the St Theresa’s Women’s Club. Estelle was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America #1750 and D.C.C.W of Galveston-Houston. Throughout her life, Estelle participated in many volunteer opportunities because of her deep connection to her church and her willingness to serve.
The family would like to thank Hannah and Hank Huynh, owners of Avista Home, and their entire staff. Our mother lived at their private care home for over 4 years. We would also like to thank Traditions Hospice who provided her medical care during this time. Our mother was lovingly cared for by these wonderful people and was treated with kindness and grace. We will forever be grateful to each and every one of you for loving her right along with us.
Friends are invited to visitation with the family on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell Street, Houston, TX 77007. A private Rite of Committal at Fairbanks Cemetery in Houston, TX.
