We are all so blessed to have known Delene and experience that most infectious smile that said without hesitation, "I love you and I am so glad to see you." This was something that was so natural for her as far back as a little girl growing up in Alvin Texas. Delene will long be remembered for how she would get so excited at the smallest act of kindness and friendship with the waving of her hands and tapping of her feet. We are all so amazed at how she was able to smile and maintain a very positive attitude while battling her illness for many years. Delene was born on November 21, 1962 in Atlanta Georgia and went home to be with our Lord and Savior March 5, 2014 in Houston Texas with her husband, children, father and brother by her side. Delene's legacy of unconditional love, appreciation for others and sharing a smile to brighten your day will live on with us all.
