Felix Flores Jr., age 77, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. Felix was born May 19, 1945 to Elijatt Villarreal Flores and Felix Flores Sr.. From a young age, Felix had always been a hard worker. He was a custodian, enjoyed working in a plant company, worked the fields and his last job being at minute maid. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting Felix came to know that he was the biggest Astros Fan ever. Every game he watched; he watched with strong passion and enjoyment cheering on his favorite team. Felix took part in the Catholic fraternal organization Knights of columbus, as a proud member, he held an office position. Felix was know throughout the community and of Holy Name, he also was known throughout northside by his street name "El campeon". Felix enjoyed Tejano music and loved his Stacy Adams shoes, he kept them well and clean.
Felix is survived by his .son Michael J. Flores; his daughter Mirah Flores; his .son Felix Flores Jr.; and his daughter Sylvia Flores; his brother Joe V. Flores; his niece Annie Maria and his niece Mary Ann Gonzales.
Felix was preceded in death by his mother Elijatt Villarreal Flores and his father Felix Flores Sr..
A visitation for Felix will be held Monday, August 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A rosary will occur Monday, August 29, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 1920 Marion St, Houston, TX 77009. A committal service will occur Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 N. Main St, Houston, TX 77009.
