

F.J. is the eldest of seven children. He graduated from St Joseph Academy in 1946 in New Roads and enlisted in the U.S. Navy immediately upon graduating. After his honorable discharge from the Navy in 1948, Stoche attended (SLI) University of Louisiana, Lafayette receiving a degree in Business Administration. After graduating in 1952, he accepted a position in the production department of Continental Oil Company (Conoco) in Eunice, LA. He met and married Beneva Miller of Eunice in 1955. They lived there until 1965 when he relocated to Lafayette, LA. In 1969 he was promoted to Director of Administration in Conoco’s Houston office. He retired in 1989 after 37 years of loyal service with Conoco. Stoche was a dedicated family man, his family and friends always came first! He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. In his younger life he loved playing golf. As he became older he enjoyed his beach house in Galveston, TX. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking, and keeping up with finances. He was an avid reader and sports enthusiast - especially LSU football.
Stoche was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother and sister in law – Gerald and Marie Louise Langlois of Houma, LA.
Stoche is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beneva Miller Langlois and three children., Michael, Mark and Mary and her husband Marc Drummond all of Houston TX. He is also survived by three grand children, Justin Langlois and Travis Drummond of Houston TX and Taylor Langlois of Conyers, GA. Also, one great grand child, Leland Langlois of Houston, TX.
Visitation will be Monday February 6, 2012 from 6-8pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday February 7, 2012 at 10:30am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church located at 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston TX 77079.
