Passed peacefully February, 15, 2025 at the age of 80.
Loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded by: Son: Joe and wife Suzann; Daughter: Jennifer; Grandchildren: Connor, Thomas and wife Helene, Nina, Tatiana, Paloma, Ava, Clare, Dominic, and Nora.
Born in Pennsylvania, she made home in Houston for over 50 years. Raising her children and working at St. John’s School where she nested, to lend an ear and guidance for nearly 30 years. “Hurricane” Frances, as described by faculty and staff alike, brought energy and momentum. Making it all seem effortless. No acknowledgement needed. Nor wanted.
Respected.
Beloved.
Known to most, the woman loved to read. A book was always within arm’s-length. She could find comfort in a written word, for hours, if allowed. Solitude.
Although “Fran” will be missed by her contemporaries, “Mom” and “Grams” will always continue to be a center point to her family. Hugs, kisses, laughs. Snacks and meals. She made life better with every smile. Always present.
All who had the privilege of knowing you will miss you.
God speed.
Frances’ family would also like to express heartfelt thanks to her many physicians and entire medical team at UT Health for their endless support through her treatments.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Lung Association in her name.
