Frank is survived by his loving wife, Judy of 66 years, Michelle (Ernest) Thrash, Paul (Leslea) Ortego, David Ortego, Tina (Ricky) Martin, all of Humble, Texas. He is also survived by his devoted 8 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two sons, Daniel Ortego and Brian Ortego.
Frank worked 30 years for the Texas Department of Corrections as a programmer in Huntsville, Texas. He served his hometown community as a deacon of the catholic church before retiring and moving near his children in Humble, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude’s Hospital or The Wounded Warriors Project in his memory.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalene, 527 S. Houston Ave. Humble, Texas 77338 at 11am.
