In his 51 years, Gabriel Marquez showed his friends and family many different ways to approach life. He always wanted others to be healthy and happy, even when he had his own struggles. Most importantly, Gabriel taught us how to use our brains, hearts, creativity to the fullest. Gabriel was a truly gifted artist. But he was so much to so many. Born on September 4, 1969 he was always a presence and energy field that was unique to him. He didn't hesitate to surprise people with his creativity, perspectives on life and his willingness to help others. Even in the end, he was laughing and making jokes with everyone around him.
His family says it will be hard to imagine holidays and events without his presence, energy and laughter. In the meantime, they promise to keep thinking about and pursuing their passions and live each day to the fullest... They know he’s watching over them and infecting their thoughts and conversations with laughter and thoughtfulness. The funeral service will be Monday June 21st.
