She was born in Anderson, Texas, on the 22nd of January 1925 to parents John Frank Kmiecik and Julia Gregory Kmiecik.
Tall, graceful, elegant and lovely, Geneva's girlhood dream was to become a ballerina. Although that dream was never realized, following high school she moved to Houston and pursued training as a paralegal. During that time, she met her life-long dear friend, Lillie Spedale.
While working as a paralegal, Geneva met her future husband, James T. Termini (Jimmy), who was an attorney. Married during the late 1940s, Geneva and Jimmy enjoyed traveling all over the world, prior to his death in 1985.
Through the years, Geneva developed a great love of writing, and completed two unpublished novels. She loved to cook and excelled in creating her own recipes. What pride she took in setting an elegant table, throwing the perfect party, and dressing like a model ready for the runway!
In 1999, Geneva married Frank Chuck, a retired engineer and widower. They shared a wonderful life together until his death in 2002.
Although she had no children of her own, Geneva maintained a very close and special relationship with Mary Lynn Urso Decuire (Jimmy's younger cousin), who has been devoted to Geneva and considered her to be a "Second Mom."
During the last eight years of her life, Geneva resided at The Forum at Memorial Woods Assisted Living, and was blessed to have the devoted and loving care of three special caregivers: Marva Johnson, Mary Addison, and Evelyn Bonsu.
Geneva was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Phillip Pete Kmiecik, John Adam Kmiecik, Annie C. Dobyanski, Verona Kemick Orlando, and Margaret Mary Kemick; and is survived by brother, Jerome Kmiecik, and numerous nieces and nephews.
