I had the pleasure of working with George for over 35 years. A true professional every day that I knew him. He was a joy to be around. I loved to hear him tell stories of the life and travels he shared with Marianne. They had a terrific life together.  
George will be dearly missed but the memories I have will live on. 

Dear family of George Thomas, 
As sad as it is to hear of your loss, I want you to know of pleasant memories I have. The leadership and warm  friendliness
George gave us since our first meeting in 1983 when Ingela and I moved to Houston. For several years, also in Stockholm, we both enjoyed his strong presence. The golf club he gave me in 1985  I will continue to use and at every future shot the great memories of George are guiding me forever.

So sad to learn of George's passing and your loss. He was a great friend as well  as business partner and had a positive influence on so many people. I can see him now climbing up a questionable shipyard ladder in Heaven. I enjoyed your Dad almost daily  for 40 years , he was someone to be proud of and loved you all and your families greatly praising accomplishments and sharing photos along the way. He will long be remembered by those that had the pleasure to know him well.


Georganne and Greg, I’ve known your Dad since I was 11 and spent all that time in your house (the fun house!) in Wassenaar. He never seemed to change in looks, always with the silver crew cut! And since we had the same last names, we considered each other’s fathers as our second dads. I can still picture his laugh too. Anyway I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s hard to lose a parent no matter how old they and we are. And although we don’t see each other at all any more, I still consider your family close to my heart, and especially now.  Thinking of you with love. ❤️

We are so very sorry for your loss.  Mr. Thomas leaves behind a memorable legacy for all his business accomplishments.  I am forever grateful he and Mr. McMahan hired me as a young college graduate as a Buyer for their offshore drilling company, Salen Offshore, and then again decades later to work at Higman Marine after my son was raised.  It changed my life for the better forever.  May God comfort you at this time.
