So sorry to hear about your Mom.  I recall when I was a little gal on Canadian Street, that there was a sweet lady that lived at the very end of Canadian and that was your Mother.  Remember the sweetest of memories of her as those are the ones that will help you get through the loss of one so dear to you and your family.

I think if it would not have been for Georgia I may not have wanted to be a hairstylist. I remember going to her hair salon after school and sorting her rollers for her and watching her dye eyebrows.
Oh the memories. You will be missed.
But not forgotten.

I will never ever forget dear sweet Georgia. Georgia was my Mother's best friend so she was a part of my life from the time I was born. No one but Georgia had ever cut my hair until I was near 40 years old.  Georgia also was the first one to ever cut my daughter's hair and gave her her first permanent for her 1st birthday.  Her son Skip and I took dancing together and many years later her daughter Rebecca taught my daughter dancing; so you can see that Georgia in some way has always been an integral part of my life.  She was such a delightful lady and one of the memories that I love to revisit in my mind is seeing her line dance and doing the "boot scootin' boogie" at the Elks Lodge one New Year's Eve 13 years ago; oh could she ever dance! Georgia had a wonderful loving personality and she is going to be missed by all who ever had the pleasure of knowing her. She may be gone but I know all her family will continue to carry her in their hearts as I do and I also know that heaven will NEVER be the same knowing that Georgia and Jonnie Mae are together once again!

Glen, Becky and Skip,
I remember your Mom so fondly and that infectious laugh.  I am so sorry for your loss but hope that in time your pain will fade and your wonderful memories will flood back to you.
She was a great Mom and an icon in Lindale!!

So many great memories when I think of Ms. Boatwright.  It was a treat to go by her shop and visit with her.  She would always make you feel like you were so special and so loved.  To Becky, Glen, & Skip my condolences.  Your mom was a treasure.
