After moving to Houston at the tender age of 8, she completed her education through the Houston Public School system. Later on in her life she became a loyal employee of Greyhound Bus Lines where she worked diligently to retire after 35 years of service. She was baptized into Christ in 2001 at the Highland Heights Church of Christ. She enjoyed attending worship services and was a faithful member until her health declined and she was unable to attend.
Geraldine departed this life on June 1, 2014 at Total Living Care Personal Care Home in New Caney, TX. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; one daughter, Lisa Bell (Donald); three grandchildren, LaKeisha Green (TeRay), Stephanie Powers, and Zachary Powers (Shelby); Six great grandchildren, Jalen, Aniyah, Londen, Kyndall, Brayden, and Maverick; Three brothers, Hillary, Gerald, Eugene; as well as nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, Inez and Antoine Bell; brother, Roland Bell.
