Glen H. Lewis Sr.

Glen H. Lewis , 89, passed away, on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born on June 17, 1924 in Bastrop, Texas to Jasper Hogan Lewis and Katherine Gilcrease. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he received a purple heart medal and a silver star medal.

He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Lewis, and son Larry Lewis. He is survived by his three daughters, Glenda Bizzell, Pamela Sue Lewis, Tammy Swint, two sons, Glen H. Lewis Jr. and his wife Virginia, and Mike Lewis and his wife Mary. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Home, 1015 Federal Rd. Houston, Texas, 77015. A Chapel Service will follow at 11:00 A.M.
