When I heard the news I was in shock, I couldn’t believe it. One minute we’re sitting in your drive way talking and laughing and the next we find out you’re gone. Sly and I mourn your loss dear friend. We will never forget  your smile.

He was such an amazing writer and expressed his thoughts so deeply. His words so eloquently remind  us all to be present every day with whomever we cross paths. You never know how far your actions or words will reach . His life has touched so many in wonderful ways. He will live on in all our memories.❤️

Oh my dear Glendon, if only you had made it over Saturday night. There is such a hole in my heart. You were so unexpected. It’s rare to find someone who you just get each other like no one before. You were a light to me and so many. Your hugs and laughter and genuine heart will not be forgotten. Always the protector, always the bright spot in any room, never met a stranger, you would never leave a place without making a new friend. You were always a comfort and home to me. From the moment we met it was like we had known each other a lifetime already but 6 months was not enough.  I was truly blessed to have that time with you. I will treasure it, short as it was, knowing we brought each other peace.  You were taken too early but I know you are with God and he is wrapping his arms around you. I pray for your mother and Sean Patrick especially. You were so looking forward to seeing him again in February. But you told me once that he is so strong and will be ok and you will see him again in heaven. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for inspiring me, encouraging me, and making me feel whole again. You will always hold a place in my heart. I love you Glendon. Rest with the angels.

I’m so shocked to hear of your passing. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. I will be forever grateful for being able to work with you at SGS. We had the love of travel and volleyball in common and I felt like we just clicked from the start. You will be greatly missed. RIP my friend.

Whether it came to sitting, laughing and watching movies while on shift, or talking through work issues in detail, Ive always enjoyed your company brother. You were a great guy with great ambitions and you will be greatly missed. Rest easy my friend.

I am in total disbelief! I remember when you showed up at Camin in 1997 and hired on. I had the pleasure of becoming life long friend and I got to train you as a rookie. You always told everyone that I was the reason you were the Oilman that your were. Just like you ole friend. You will be greatly missed here on earth. Love you!

Rest in peace dear man. I am thankful our paths crossed even for such a short time. Your light in my life was strong and bright and gave me such hope. I will miss your adventureous spirit.

I am shocked beyond words and in total grief over what I am seeing. Glendon and I met at the gym a year ago. He was a light for me during a hard time in my life. Glendon would give me the shirt off his back if I needed it without hesitation. He was one of the hardest working men I have ever known.  I would call him "My Bear" because he was bigger than life to me. He treated me like a Queen and never asked for anything in return. His love for me was like no other. His voice, hugs, and adoration will be greatly missed and will leave a huge void in my life. I LOVE you, Glendon. Thank you for approaching me at the gym that one Saturday morning and for loving me so deeply. Rest in peace, My Bear.
