Glenn Harry Presley, 90, of Houston, Texas, peacefully passed away on January 21, 2026, at home in Houston, Texas.
Glenn was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to Isabel Gertrude Johns and Harry Edwin Albert Presley, on March 13, 1935. He married the love of his life, Martha Cox, in Dallas, Texas on August 8, 1981. They enjoyed a blessed marriage filled with laughter and joy for forty-five years.
Glenn earned his high school diploma in 1953 at Rayen High School, which served many children of the steel-driven, industrial economy of the Mahoning Valley. He went on to study business management at Youngstown State University. His charismatic, energetic, and resilient personality led him to a life-long, successful career in sales. He first represented Quaker Lace, a Philadelphia-based manufacturer that supplied the White House. He later represented Walter Genuin. A selfless veteran, Glenn served in Germany in the Army from 1954-1956. Glenn held a 32nd degree in the Scottish Rite Valley of Youngstown and the Grand Lodge of Ohio-Western Star Lodge #21, Boardman, OH.
Glenn is preceded in death by his sisters, Carol Granitto, and Ednamae Bubanich, and his parents, Harry Presley and Isabel Markulin.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Presley. He is also survived by numerous family and friends from Ohio, Texas and Florida. He cherished his relationships with each member of his family and friends, especially the children.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in Glenn’s name and benefiting pediatric patients in need of burn care and specialty services may be directed to the Shriners Hospital for Children, in care of Donor Relations, 2900 N. Rocky Road Point Dr., Tampa, Florida 33607. As a devoted Shriner himself, this was a cause close to his heart.
