Gloria was such a beautiful and wonderful person, when I first met her thru Francisco. She was always smiling and a sweet person to be around. ❤️

So many memories were shared thru the span of years, all I can say is thank you 💜✨ for sharing your kindness and magic. For letting me love on you and your family.  Grateful I got to experience a ray of you. I am so proud of you, proud of all that you are.

She will be dearly missed. It was truly a joy and an honor to have known her. She always brought her whole family to the library, and her warmth and presence made every program so much more meaningful and joyful.

Here is Gloria and Paco with their girls in Chinatown, Chicago. I am thankful for their support by flying over to see me graduating that year. It was the greatest gift for me.

Gloria had such a creative eye! I loved having the opportunity paint and craft new art with her. The creative cards and gifts made by her are my most cherished possessions, thank you Gloria.

Gloria was a great aunt who cared deeply about every one of her nieces. Here we were all having a great time with her at the Hamilton Pool. Will miss all of the exciting adventures I had with her.

Gloria always made our days at the library brighter. She was so smart, funny, kind, and was a truly talented artist. And of course, she was a fantastic mom. There are so many things I can say about Gloria and the impact she had on all of us and how much we wish we would have had more time with her. My heart goes out to her wonderful family -- who she also brought into our lives. We care so much about all of you and wish for healing and strength for you in this difficult time. You'll always be part of our High Meadows family, and so will Gloria. 🩷💜

The last time we hanged out, your girls and my kids loved Splashtown, Immersive Gamebox, and the Amazing Chemistry show. We were so tired but yet so grateful for your company. Like all breaks, we looked forward to spending time with you guys.

You were selected as an honorary speaker to an academic Honor Society on this day. Your speech at the induction ceremony about overcoming obstacles to eventually graduate from the University of Houston was very inspirational.

Co-teaching with you at teachHouston is one of my favorite memories. Your enthusiasm to help students was contagious. You made teaching enjoyable and fun.

This was a great milestone for us. I'll forever remember how we helped each other the previos summer with our last senior sequence math courses. Thank goodness we had each other in a study group. I'm grateful for the laughs and mini conversations too.

I will remember Gloria as the most amazing mom in the world. She is someone I truly admired and sharing motherhood with her was such a joy. I know her brilliance, perseverance, patience, and kindness will live on in her girls.

Gloria was always so kind and caring to my daughters and I will always be grateful to her for that. I’m thankful that she allowed us to share many memories with her and her family.

Gloria attended many holiday events with us and made them so much more enjoyable. She spread her kindness where ever she went.
