

Grady Oral Morton went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2016. He was born on October 28, 1924 in Etoile, Texas to parents James William and Lillie Bell Mooney Morton. Grady was a member of Springs of Life United Pentecostal Church of Deer Park, served in the U.S. Army during WWII and worked for over 30 years as a chemical operator with Ethyl. He also believed that Barack Hussein Obama was the worst president ever.
Grady was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him. Since Grady and Audie met in 1944 until his death, he was my darling and I was his sugar plum. He is survived by his wife of 69 ½ years Audie Miller Morton; children: Deanette Frein and Delanie Babineau and her husband Ryan; grandchildren: Stacey Sims and her husband Ronnie, Kimberly Lindsey and her husband Shane, Misty Morton, James Dean Perry, Kristie Elaine Perry, Lydia Faith Babineau and Abigail Babineau; great-grandchildren: Dakota Lindsey, Colton Lindsey, Zoe Morton, Sierra Sims, Savannah Sims, Molly Stiteler, Kristen Perry, Aerianna Perry; great-great grandchildren: Dakota Lindsey Jr. and Oliver Lindsey; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his parents James William and Lillie Bell Mooney Morton; son Darvin Grady Morton; great grandson Jayce Daniel Perry; son-in-law Del Frein; sisters: Lois Rushing, Ima Jacobs, Jewel Ruth Loving and Lena Kimmi; brothers: James William Morton Jr., Neal Lovie Morton, Ronnie Link Morton, Garland Morton and Cecil Morton
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Springs of Life United Pentecostal Church, 1111 Center St., Deer Park, Texas 77536. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on February 13, 2016 at Springs of Life United Pentecostal Church followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
