Guadalupe Stone, 77, of Spring, Texas, passed into eternal rest on March 17, 2020. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 2, 1942. She attended Milby High School and after graduation decided to go into the medical field. Lupe attended BYU and graduated from UTN in 1963 with a nursing degree.
Lupe worked in the ER at Ben Taub hospital and soon moved over to Houston Methodist where she met the love of her life, James Edward Stone. Lupe and Jim got married on February 27, 1964. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and worked for many years in the Houston, Texas Temple. She had a hobby of making quilts, but everyone will remember her for her banana bread and very giving personality. Lupe was always doing for other people, her family and members of the church.
She is preceded in death by, her parents Pasqual and Aurora Sanchez. Left to cherish her memories are: husband James Edward Stone, son James Grant Stone, daughter Kristy Pilar (Kondisko) Stone, grandchildren: Jacob Austin Stone, Dustin Ryan Stone, Julie Anna Stone, Jordan Stone Roberts and Kessler Dawn Kondisko, brother Armando Sanchez.
A Graveside Service for Guadalupe will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2020 at 10:30am at Brookside Funeral Home,13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Kondisko, Grant Stone, Jacob Stone, Dustin Stone, Ron Welsh, Norm Williams, and Ronny Stone.
