Hazel Evelyn Owens, 95, entered into eternal rest on August 10, 2014 and joined those who preceded her in death: parents: William & Florence Bridges; husband, Johnnie Lee Owens; daughter, Linda Nell Armstrong; son, Leonard William Owens; sisters: Bernice Morton, Lennie Marie Bridges; brother, Curtis Bridges. Her memories will be forever cherished by her surviving relatives: children: Wilton Owens & wife Tommie, Jerry G. Owens (Kellie); son-in-law, David Armstrong; grandchildren: Gary K. Owens & wife Rhonda, Sheree Lynn French & husband David, Shawn Sexton & husband Jeff, Shannon McClain & husband Joel, Shellie Armstrong, Daymond Armstrong, Johnnie Armstrong, Lonnie Owens & wife Rhonda, Lynn Baker & husband Tim, Larry Owens; 21 great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-7PM on Tuesday, August 12th. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, August 13th at Brookside. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
