Mr. Hou was born December 12, 1930, in the of KomPong ChomBork, Prey Veng, Province, Cambodia. His passions and interests included family, gardening, and sewing. He devoted much of his time and energy as a caregiver to his family members.
He is survived by his lovely wife, Kim Boven, three daughters and their spouses, Hou ChhengHong Hun Suon, Hou ChhengLeang and Bousong Chy, Hou Boravy and Chealin Morn, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved father, father in law, grandpa, and great grandpa, Hou Hean. He will forever be in our hearts. Please join us for the following dates:
**On Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Wat Khemararam, 9919 Deer Trail Dr., Houston from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., family will gather to pay respects at the Triple Gem of Buddhism and listen to chants and prayers of the Monks.
**On Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Wat Khemararam to Celebrate the 7 days of his decease from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Family and friends will gather to take the five precepts and the Buddhist followers. WE will also listen to chants and prayers by the Monks, Bangsaoukaul, Reabbat.
**On Monday, July 15, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston. Funeral Services will be from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. the Monks will be begin their chants and prayers. Graveside service will follow 2:30 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. where Hou Hean's body will be buried.
