Hoang Thai Nguyen

Mr. Nguyen, age 43, and Ms. Chatelain, age 40, of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 due to an automobile accident. They were co-owner of the Bunkie Nails Salon. They were both natives of Vietnam.

Hoang is survived by his children, Linh Gia Chaua, Loi Chatelain and Tan Chatelain all of Bunkie; his father, Huan Nguyen of Houston, TX; his mother, Tuyet Doan of Houston, TX; his two sisters, Lan Nguyen and Anh-Thu Nguyen both of Houston and his six brothers, Tuan Nguyen, Huy Nyguyen, Binh Nguyen, Minh Nguyen and Thien Nguyen all of Houston, TX and Hung Nguyen of Marksville.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Tam Van Bui and is survived by her children, Linh Gia Chaua, Loi Chatelain and Tan Chatelain all of Bunkie; her mother, Kheo Thi Nguyen of Vietnam; her siblings, Phuong Ngoc Thi Bui, Mai Ngoc Thi Bui, Van Hong Bui and Phuc Hong Bui all of Vietnam and Taiwan.

A visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home 7010 Chetwood Dr. Houston, TX 77081 on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 4:00pm-9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Frances de Sales 8200 Roos Rd, Houston, TX 77036 with a reception to follow. The internment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery 12800 Westheimer Rd. Houston, Texas.
