Homero had a gentle heart and a simple, joyful spirit. He enjoyed the small things in life—singing, coloring, and receiving small gifts or meals. Homero had his own routines and preferences, which those close to him came to know and appreciate. He had a special fondness for baseball and football, and especially liked supporting Houston sports teams.
He now joins his father Aristeo Gonzalez Martinez, mother Eustolia Flores de Gonzalez, sister Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez Martinez, and brother Javier Gonzalez in eternal rest.
He is survived by his siblings: Maria Teresa Gonzalez de Garza, Gerardo Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez, Esperanza G. Rico, and Aristeo Gonzalez Jr. Each carries with them memories of his kind soul and the simple happiness he brought to life.
Homero will be missed dearly and remembered with love. Rest easy, Homero. You are home now.
