

Howard Cranford, a man of great faith is now at home with his Lord Jesus Christ having left this earthly life on Saturday, February 27, 2010. Howard was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 9, 1932. He is preceded in death by his parents Bennie Howard and Arvila Faye Cranford and brother’s Bennie Cranford, Guinn Cranford and sister Iona Black. He is survived by his loving wife Lois Cranford and his children Peggy Swaim and husband Mike, Terry Sutton, Arlene Reed, Robert Cranford and wife Lisa, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brothers Lawrence Cranford and DJ Cranford. In addition to serving the Lord, Howard enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, spending time outdoors and traveling to the mountains and the beaches. He was a faithful employee for 34 years with Murray Rubber and when not working he took enjoyment in acting as a handyman and Mr. Fix it for both friends and family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Second Baptist Church designated for the International Mission Board. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Monday, March 1st at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, March 2nd at Second Baptist Church North Campus, 22770 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas, 77339. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
