She enjoyed going to church on Sunday mornings and sitting on her porch in the afternoon reading her bible. Throughout the week she enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking her coffee, and speaking to the neighbors as they passed by. Everyone in the neighborhood knew her as, Mrs. Ida Mae, or Auntie. Ida loved to listen to and sing her spiritual songs, although she never sang outside of the house, she really had a beautiful voice. One of her favorite songs was “The Lord Will Make Away.” So, please just sit a while and listen to this favorite song of hers and a few other songs she enjoyed.
