Isidro Tamez went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday July 20, 2019. He was born in Allende NL, Mexico on September 18, 1926 and came to America in 1943. He was proud to become an American citizen in 1962, but he would say marrying the love of his life Rachel Martinez on December 24,1950 and raising an amazing family was his greatest accomplishment. Together he and Rachel had one son and five daughters. His children: Julian Tamez and wife Beverly, Irma Laha and her late husband Billie, Nelda Brumbelow and husband Steve, Lydia Smiley and husband Skip, Hilda Back and husband Greg and Diana Nesbit and husband Jorg, Ginna Wilhite all had the joy of calling him dad. He was always so delighted with his wonderful grandchildren: Craig Tamez, Scott Laha, Leslie Freeman, Brian Laha, Amy Wall, Lori Mosser, Adam back, Dustin Back, Sara El Hourani, Dillon Nesbit and numerous great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many cousins, relatives and dear friends that he made a huge impact on their lives.
His love for Jesus Christ and sharing his faith gave him tremendous joy, that along with flying his plane into the clouds were his true passions. His legacy will live on as he has sponsored several missions in Mexico while working hard as a Union Carpenter in Houston, Texas.
Isidro will always be remembered for his wonderful smile, his welcoming arms, loving heart and his faithfulness to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
