Jack Darrel Bateman Sr.

A loving Father, son, husband, grandfather, cousin, uncle and brother. Jack was sent to us all as an angel and lived his life constantly pursuing the art of sharing and loving.

He loved his beautiful wife and soul mate Betty, 3 sons, Jack Jr, Chris, Byron, daughter Cyndi and 5 grandchildren, Jack III, Cathy, Hillary, Michael and Jeanette who all learned a great amount about love through their Father and grandfather as did his brother, Bob Ruehman. He will join his Mother, Ruth Ruehman, a sister Betty Farrar and so many other cousins who precede him and await his arrival in heaven above.

Jack worked his life in Corporate Marketing and particularly around the natural gas industry. So many fond memories of his adventures around the world in that sector. A wonderful 30 years of retirement with his wife Betty in Hilltop Lakes, Texas to remember. Born in Davenport, Iowa and relocating in the 70’s to Houston, Texas which became home and where his roots were planted as he raised his 3 sons.

The Savior was ready to relieve all his pain and bring him safely home. He will relieve all of us from your grief and pain too. Truly have spiritual security and assurance. Families are forever - in as existence so much better than this. The power that comforts and lifts our hearts and souls is a celestial power. We can’t get to our Father in heaven and our eternal family without going through the door called death. Everything will be perfect - in time.
