Jacqueline Eubank

Jackie was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the only child of Betty Lou McCary Henson and Jack Thomas Henson. Jackie married Monty Eubank in August 1979.

After graduating from Edison High School in Tulsa, Jackie attended Oklahoma State University and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Shortly after marrying Monty, they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and she completed her degree at the University of New Mexico. In 1982 they moved to Houston, where they have lived ever since.

Jackie’s greatest joy came from being a mother to her only child Marissa. Throughout her life Jackie was an active participant in various philanthropic and volunteer organizations including: VICTORY Houston, Inc., an organization that raises money to support cancer-related initiatives in the Greater Houston area, Houston Ballet Guild’s Nutcracker Market, and Memorial Women’s Club.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Monty Eubank; her daughter, Marissa Eubank; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Bucher and her husband Michael; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

A celebration of life is to be conducted at three o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 20th of November, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent grand foyer.
