Mrs. Browning is survived by her husband, Jack Douglas Browning; daughter, Kari Lee Browning; sister, Shirley Mae Mayes Howell; brother-in-law, Clayton Clark Howell, Jr.; nieces, Connie Mae Howell Heller and Kellie Mayes Howell Laney; and Kari's brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Jennifer Kennedy. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Browning was a member of White Oak Baptist Church on Mangum Street, Houston, Texas.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Stateroom at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, Texas 77055.
