I stumbled upon this obituary by accident - I was searching for a different person on google, clicked this link, saw his picture and age and my heart sank.

Our family placed a US flag in front of his tombstone today and met his dad. We were so moved to see his age and to hear his dad say, "That's my son." It was an honor to honor him today. Thank you for your service, Jake Perry Parker.

I want to thank you for saving my life by getting me straight and into the clinic I'm still so caught off guard from this happening and I just miss those times that I actually had to hangout and chill when it didn't have to do with anything bad and also I want to thank you very much for your service to our country semper Fi. Semper Fi. Again thank you Jake thank you again for pulling me out of the fire I just wish I could have been there for you when you needed it. fly high.

I will always share fond memories of Jake's sweet and respectful heart, he was always a gentleman and I was and always will be very proud of him and his contributions to the world through his service in the Marine Corp.
I cant imagine the pain you are going through.

Tim ,Nicola , I am so sorry for your loss . A parent should never have to bury their child .  I can't begin to feel what you are feeling at this time . Just please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this trying time .  I once heard that God only loans our children to us for awhile . I like to think that is true and your son , Jake is home  , from where he came . And is resting .  Wishing you peace and comfort in your time of sorrow .  Nina 🙏
