Jim Anderson was a charming handsome 'bon vivant" with a wicked sense of humor. James Wescott Anderson was born December 5, 1954 in New Jersey and dies peacefully in Houston, Texas with his daughter, Kristin Mills and son-in-law, Nathan Mills by his side. In addition to Kristin and Nathan Jim is survived by his former wife Donna Anderson, his brother Trey Anderson and his sister Cindy Anderson Blain, as well as nephews Craig and Ben Anderson, Nick Blain and niece Vivian Blain. Amazingly, Jim was also a homebody who loved cooking quiches for family and kept a spotless home. He loved great wine, great fod, live music (especially when it was Jimmy Buffett), and fun friends. Jimmy truly had a keen sense of taste and aroma that made him perfectly suited to working in the wine and food industry. He was a good man with a good heart and loved his family. Prior to moving to Texas he stayed in California with his mother, Jo Anderson, serving as her primary caregiver prior to her passing with cancer. Jim also loved boats and being on the water, and some of his ashes will be cast into the Atlantic and the Pacific as well as the Gulf of Mexico, representing the three coasts of his life. He will be toasted often great wine and remembered with the fun times and laughter he brought to all.
