James F. DeSalvo

James Francis DeSalvo was born on July 31, 1926 and joined our heavenly father on Thursday, July 23rd. His wife Patience Hulene preceded Jim in death. His daughter Sandra Upton and husband Richard, granddaughter Tracy Upton, nephew Henry DeSalvo and numerous nieces and nephews survive Jim.

Jim was a dedicated Sears employee for over 40 years. If you ever had a chance to meet Jim, you quickly learned how much he truly loved his farm and horses. In his final years, Jim was lovingly cared for by his sister-in-law Joyce Randolph-Kuntschik, niece Doris Patterson and his beloved caretaker Shamika Jones.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, with a rosary beginning at 7pm, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Pat H. Foley & Company. Mass will be held at 10am, Monday, July 27, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Forest Oaks Cemetery, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr. Austin, Texas 78749.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity or local no-kill animal shelter.
