RIP Pawpaw! You are in the most precious place on this earth Heaven with our Lord Jesus. You have many family members who I know you are enjoying to see. There are many memories I can remember as a lil girl, like the time we were all having dinner and you were talking like Donald duck, or when you showed us how to eat a chicken leg...well not the whole thing but little ole me thought you did. I remember coming to your house and you made me a taco filled with bacon and grape jelly!!! I think I remember looking at you like oh no this is not going to be good, but it was delish!! There were lots of times we'd come to see you and you'd always have RC cola and green spearmint gum. How about the time you made me a huge pot of Chicken and dumplings because you knew I loved them. You always thought about other ppl first!! Some of my older memories were when Bryan, me and the boys would come visit you in the Woodlands to bring you deer, fish and veggies. You had the biggest smile. You were so grateful for everything. Aunt Judy reminded me of when Bryan and I came over to fix your DVD player. I'm so blessed to have you as my Pawpaw. I will miss you but I know you want all of us to go on with our lives knowing you are pain free and enjoying heaven and all the special family who greeted you as you walked through heavens gates. Come visit me anytime. I think I seen you floating in my yard while feeding my animals. A beautiful black butterfly flew right over my head and I said, "That's my Pawpaw!!" I love you!!!

Love you Papa!! I wish I would have visited you the night we were there dropping girls off, right before you passed; Aunt Gaynell had mentioned you were not feeling well. It crossed my mind to walk over and see you, but realized how late it was. Wish I would have now, to have at least given you one last hug.  I will always remember your big smile and funny sense of humor!!

No more lonely days for Daddy. I bet Uncle RB was so glad to see you!!! I will always remember when we were little even though we didn't have a lot of money you always tried to make life fun like Halloween you would make all our costumes and take us all over high meadows trick or treating and in the summers we went to the beach every week end and how you taught us how to drive at 12 haha!!! And how you always threw money in that old ladies can that was on the side of the road in a wheelchair. You thought me to be good to the poor people because that's what Jesus would do. Thank you for being the best Dad a girl could ever have I love you and I will see you in Heaven Daddy!!!

You earned your wings Papa! I take comfort in knowing you are at complete peace and no longer in any pain. I wish there was a way to see the reunions that happen in heaven. To think of you with your daughter, wife, mom and all your other loved ones brings a smile to my face. I will always remember you talking like Donald Duck. I would beg you to do it over and over again. It never got old and I always got tickled every time you did it. Thank you for my first cup of coffee at the age of about 8! Ha! I will think of you daily with my morning coffee. Rest in Paradise Papa! The rest of us will meet you there one day. I love you! XOXO

I spent a lot of time at your house when I was a little girl as your beautiful daughters were my best friends. What I remember about you is many smiles and much laughter. Thank you for welcoming me into your home and family. Love you Porter girls very much.

I love you so much dad. I am grateful for the time we had together. Every oil change, our early mornings  having coffee while we listen to the woodpeckers, and for the stories you shared with me about mom. I know you are one happy man reunited with  the love of your life. Don't worry about us girls we will take care of each other.LOVE YOU DAD

So blessed to call you my Dad. So sad to never fish or talk with you in the evening, or bring you the over flow of food because I knew you would take care of it!!!!
