Now look at it 5 months later and it’s starting to get some growth. I was coming close to going out and buying a plant just like and then bam it started growing again.

This is one of the plants from your home going celebration for a long time it had no green on it long story short Amir name this plant Paw Paw.
From the day me and him replanted the plant he would ask me why it hasn’t grown yet.

Paw Paw you were a visionary, intelligent, charismatic, wise, and a leader. You taught so many life lessons over the years to us.  Mainly,  to take pride in being a leader,  take care of our families , love each other, the value of a dollar and how to earn it. You touched all of our lives in effective ways. One of your favorite phrases was that you were, “tougher than a junk yard dog” haha and we believe you. It’s important to me to continue to celebrate your life and keep your name alive for years to come. Paw paw you was an amazing person and even better grandfather. You was a mentor when the path became cloudy. You was an teacher when I was faced with a problem. You was a loving companion when I needed it the most. Paw paw exceeded every characteristic of the word grandfather. Any kid would be happy to call you grandfather.  Ultimately I'm grateful that I was your grandson and you was my PAWPAW.  The references and lessons you told thru stories will be told for generations to come.

Paw paw you finally can go be with nanny and at peace ,You have been more of a father to me than a grandfather ,showed me love and took good care of me as a kid all the way up to a grown man .The life lessons and wisdom you have taught me is second to none .when I was a kid we would stay at you and nanny house and yall never told us we had a to leave.you are one of a kind .i would tell you everyday pop you can make to to 100 years old i guess God had other  plans for you up there in heaven with him ,Pop I will keep you alive in my heart so your spirit lives on, Tell Nanny that we miss her and her cooking and that German chocolate cake I can still taste and smell it sometimes if I close my eyes and remember ,those steaks and mixed vegetables  nanny would cook for you and put on your plate after you came home from work I always wanted some of that steak ,but nanny would say boy you bet  not touch that steak that’s for your paw paw. What I will remember most about Paw Paw was his character, selflessness & hard working nature. Paw Paw always did for his loved ones with no hesitation. I will miss coming home and sitting next to him, hearing him tell stories about growing up in Louisiana, raising my father, Uncle & Aunties. Coming to all his grand kids football games meant the world to him. We will continue to carry out the Washington name that you gave so much meaning to. Rest in Paradise James Washington.
